About the project

The Brief

To mark the centenary of Bloody Sunday at Croke Park, the GAA Museum launched ‘Remembering Bloody Sunday’, a commemorative events series. ETC was tasked with driving awareness and managing the conversation sensitively, motivating people to visit and engage, and positioning the GAA Museum as an authoritative voice on Bloody Sunday.

The approach

Activity included stakeholder management, a messaging matrix to guide respectful tone, a structured launch, the use of credible spokespeople, and targeted, active media outreach to ensure the programme was covered appropriately.

The results

The campaign achieved extensive media coverage including RTÉ News, Nationwide, Ireland AM and Morning Ireland. ETC pivoted effectively during Covid, helped raise the national profile of the GAA Museum, engaged new audiences, and maintained a commemorative, respectful tone across all communications.
